Home Page for the new SailJuice.com website
The SailJuice micro-universe has been a confusing place at times. Yes, we admit it! As we’ve experimented with different formats, blogging platforms and websites, SailJuice has taken various forms over the past three years, and held a few different addresses around the webosphere.
So we’ve tidied things up.
This – where you are now – is the new (old) home for SailJuice Blog. You might remember this is where we used to be – up until the beginning of the Olympic Games. We then moved to our ‘SquareSpace’ address for a few months, brought about mainly because of this WordPress blog being blocked by the Great Firewall of China while we were reporting on the Olympic Regatta in Qingdao last summer.
We got a lot of nice feedback for our reports and interviews from Qingdao, and we’re proud of the stuff we got there, so we’ll leave it up there for the time being, and we’ve called that site Olympic SailJuice. Who knows, we might resurrect that site for the Weymouth 2012 Games, but for the time being Olympic SailJuice is an archive of material largely from Qingdao and a bit of the fall-out from the ISAF Conference in 2008, where we had a few strong words to say about proceedings in Madrid.
But the biggest change is what we’ve done with SailJuice.com. This is a big move away from what SailJuice has been in the past. This is now a ‘how-to’ website for any racing sailor who is serious about improving his or her results on the race course. We’ve rounded up some of the biggest and brightest stars from the racing firmament to share their secrets to success.
If you’re wondering why we’ve gone so quiet on the blogging front in recent months, then go to SailJuice.com and you’ll see why. We’ve been busy, even if we’ve been quiet about it.
And if you want to improve your sailing skills, I seriously recommend you give SailJuice.com a try. We’ve made it as easy as possible for you to test it out, RISK-FREE. You have 30 days to give SailJuice.com a whirl, and if you decide for any reason it’s not for you, then you can ask for your money back.
So, a brief round-up of the SailJuice Micro-Universe:
- SailJuiceBlog.com – the news & opinion that has been the backbone of SailJuice for the past three years
- Olympic SailJuice – archive of material from Qingdao 2008
- SailJuice.com – hot tips and secrets from the world’s best sailors, to help you improve your own race results.
